analysis of policies and legislative framework ON YOUNG WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUPPORT IN THE DANUBE REGION

The report on the analysis of policies and legislative framework summarizes, and synthesizes the state of the existing policies when it comes to young women entrepreneurship in nine countries of the Danube region: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Romania and Slovenia. Thereby, the report enables project partners and relevant stakeholders to have an overview on the real picture of the legal framework and the existing policies on young women entrepreneurship. It will serve as a base for further development of policy recommendations for young women entrepreneurship support in the Danube region.

TRANSNATIONAL LEARNING EVENTS
|
|
|
|
In the frame of the last six months of the WOMEN IN BUSINESS project implementation, the last 2 Transnational Learning Events (TLEs) were held. SEBS hosted the 5th TLE in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in July, 2018 and TPV - the 6th TLE in Varazdin, Croatia in October 2019. German, Bosnian and Croatian Good Practices have been presented during the TLEs. All project partners and members of the WOMEN IN BUSINESS Advisory Board gained extensive knowledge on different business women support initiatives delivered by the national authorities, and business support organizations.

TRANSNATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS MEETINGS
|
|
|
|
The members of the project Advisory Board met for the 3rd time during the Transnational Stakeholder Meeting (TSHM) hosted by SEBS, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The discussions were based on the Transnational Policy Analysis and the structure of the Policy Agenda. The 4th TSHM took place in Varazdin, Croatia and organized by TPV and within the event the Analysis of the policy framework has been presented and validated by the Advisory Board. Moreover, 10 best practices out of 43 have been evaluated and validated by the Advisory Board and will be presented in the GPs Handbook.

NATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS MEETINGS
|
|
|
|
3rd NATIONAL STAKEHOLDER MEETINGs were organized in Slovenia, Austria and Moldova. The aim of the round tables was to share and to validate at national level the Report on the analysis of policies and legislative framework within the 9 partners countries form Danube region. The discussions also were held on the draft of the training models elaborated within the partnership.

THEMATIC TASK GROUP MEETINGS
|
|
|
|
Project partners and external experts in the field of training of women entrepreneurs gathered on the 2nd Thematic Task Group Meeting (TTGM) in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and on July 3rd, 2019 and the 3rd TTGM in Varazdin, Croatia on October 1st, 2019. As a result of the discussions content of the 3 training models was agreed, so few steps left to be done before starting of the 1st pilot actions.

Capitalisation Event “FOSTERING WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE DANUBE REGION” under Priority Area 8 of eUSDR
|
|
|
|
The capitalisation event - organized by PAC 8 - Ministry of Enterpreneurship and Crafts of Croatia and RAPIV on 3rd of October 2019 in Varazdin, Croatia, tackled a very important societal challenge – to encourage women in the Danube region to establish and develop business and thus to obtain market success.
The event combined meeting of the PAC8 WG Female Entrepreneurship with discussions on policy and legal framework that have relevance to promotion and support of women entrepreneurship, presentation of good practices for fostering women entrepreneurship and success stories and case studies of women entrepreneurs from the Danube region.
