Second call

Originally scheduled for March 29, 2024, the new submission deadline is now set for April 3, 2024, 14:00 PM CET.

The 2nd call for proposals of the Danube Region Programme is open from 2 November 2023 until 3 April 2024. The 2nd call is organised according to a one-step procedure where the applicants have to submit an application package, including a fully developed Application Form (AF), through Jems by 3 April 2024, 14:00 Central European Time (CET).

Financial allocation:

As indicated above, the Danube Region Programme has allocated 38 749 913,00 EUR Interreg funds for the second call for proposals. 

Who can apply?

Eligible applicants include public authorities, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, research organizations, and other relevant stakeholders from the Danube region. Each project has to involve at least three financing project partners from three different countries of the programme area.

Programme support for applicants 

Applicants can request individual consultations for their project ideas with the MA/JS by sending an email to the Project Officer in charge of the programme specific objective addressed in their project proposal. For general advice and information, we recommend to consult the respective National Contact Point.
We have launched new matchmaking platform to help applicants find the right project partners and allow organisations within the programme's geographical area to join projects applying to the open call for proposal. 

In October and November, we held a series of webinars to help applicants learn about transnational project generation, the application process as well as to learn all about our programme specific objectives. After each webinar, we made the recordings and presentations available on our YouTube channel and published them also in the tables below.

In addition to the webinars hosted by the programme's Joint Secretariat, applicants can also participate in national info days. Please check the upcoming sessions and complete the registration below.
