SABRINA - PRESENTING THE RESULTS AT VELO-CITY CONFERENCE

Yesterday, the biggest cycling summit in the world started in Ljubljana. The capital of Slovenia is hosting Velo-city conference 2022 under the slogan “Cycling the Change”. The SABRINA project is presenting its activities and results in the Exhibition area, where you can visit us at booth no. 7. Join us and learn how safe EuroVelo routes in 8 project partner countries are and try to guess the risk on the selected sections from our surveys. You can also check out the bicycle we used to survey around 3500 km of EuroVelo routes and see the videos from the surveys in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

The SABRINA project activities and the CycleRAP model, which was piloted in the SABRINA project and is one of the three methodologies used in the project to assess the safety of the selected parts of the EuroVelo routes, were presented yesterday at the Freewheel stage. We are inviting you to another presentation tomorrow, 16 June 2022, at 10:40 am, also at the Freewheel stage. Tomorrow, from 11:00 to 12:00 join can as well join us at the session Cycling tourism on the rise: using data for growth where Leonid Ljubotina from the SABRINA project partner University of Zagreb, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, will present SABRINA’s activities and why data and results matter in the field of more cycling tourism.
