As the project is close to the end, the project team will hold a 2-day online event to present the results and highlighs of MEASURES.

The first day of the conference opens with an overall presentation of key results, followed by a series of presentations and discussions. Some highlights of the day: The MEASURES information system, Results of national workshops and future vision, Habitat data collection & maps, eDNA metabarcoding survey of fish communities in the Danube and its tributaries, Life-Boat 4 sturgeons – a project proposal to tackle ex situ conservation of the Danube Sturgeons.

The second day incudes a discussion about the Strategy for ecological corridor conservation in the Danube catchment, as well as a Cooperative session MEASURES – VERBUND hydropower.
