Danube S3 Cluster - Pilot Actions - Danube S3 Cluster presents the Local Action Plans elaborated within project

One of the main objectives of Danube S3 Cluster project is supporting the cooperation between clusters and the actors of the Quadruple Helix, especially higher education and research institutes. In this regard, 15 cluster cooperation agreements were concluded during the implementation of the 5 regional pilot initiatives.
The bottom up approach of the project that is based on the entrepreneurial discovery process together with the process of enhancing the innovation management knowledge base and skills will allow and empower cluster managers to implement pilot projects, generated from their real needs and based on their entrepreneurial knowledge. Thus, the project addresses cross-cutting themes that are actual for cluster and beneficial in Agro-Food sector (Open Innovation in Clusters; Business Models that Work in Circular Economy and Healthy Food).
The 5 pilot projects implemented by partner countries are the followings:
- In Romania, IPA Craiova is implementing the Local Action Plan on Healthy Food;
- In Bosnia & Herzegovina, NERDA is implementing the Local Action Plan on Open Innovation in Clusters;
- In Croatia, EKO-SUSTAV is implementing the Local Action Plan on Business Models that Work in Circular Economy;
- In Serbia, FTS is implementing the Local Action Plan on Business Models that Work in Circular Economy;
- In Slovakia, BEC is implementing the Local Action Plan on Healthy Food.
