DANUBE GUIDES IN GORENJSKA REGION, SLOVENIA

 
 

Regional development agency Gorenjska – BSC Kranj implemented the last step of the training for the Danube Guides in Gorenjska region, Slovenia, with giving the certificates to the participants. 80 hours of the training, 4 modules in cooperation with more than 15 specialized experts, took place in 8 places in the central and upper Gorenjska region.

FINAL EVENT in Bucharest

 
 

6th and final LENA meeting had been organized between 15-18th of April in Bucharest, Romania. As part of the meeting, policy workshop on nature-based businesses and jobs in the Danube region took place on 17th April.

GASTRO SHOW DEVOTED TO BLACK SLAVONIAN PIGS IN CROATIA

 
 

On 10th of May in the municipality of DrenovciIn in Vukovar Srijem County a real gourmet spectacle was prepared, the first "Fajferica gastro show". This is one-day event was devoted to Black Slavonian pigs (who are called fajferica) where various products was presented and where top cooks prepared special meals in which the main ingredient was meat of Black Slavonian pigs.

PROMOTIONAL PRESS TOUR IN BULGARIA WITH PRESS-CONFERENCES IN BELENE AND IVANOVO

 
 

As a closing of the local activities in project LENA, press tour and press conferences were held in Belene and Ivanova in Bulgaria.

FINAL PRESS EVENT IN THE DANUBE PARK IN TUTTLINGEN: DESPITE MASSIVE CLOUDBURST CYCLISTS ATTENDED RALLY

 
 

Tuttlingen. New offers for cyclists and tourists and especially for e-bikers – that are the results of the LENA project. On Saturday, May 25, was taken stock of the project within a final press event in the Danube Park. The most hart-bitten participants of the press event accepted unfavorable circumstances to reach the Danube Park: By bike they arrived from Leibertingen (distance 25 km) and Sigmaringen (distance 45 km) to present their cities and municipalities as part of the Landscape Park Young Danube.
