Transdanube.Pearls - Assessment Tour completed successfully!

04-09-2017

From the source of the Danube to the mouth – 2.860 km along the Danube in 22 days, encompassing 9 countries, visiting more than 15 regions and cities solely by using sustainable means of transport such as busses, bikes, trains and ships.

Yes - it is possible!

The team, a mobility expert, a tourism expert and a video team did not only collect important insights for our project Transdanube.Pearls and the goal to foster the concept of sustainable mobility in tourism along the Danube. They showed daily insights on the beautiful regions, impressive touristic sites and the cultural richness along the Danube. Their impressions strengthened the desire to travel along the Danube and explore the surrounding regions with sustainable means of transport!

On behalf of the Transdanube.Pearls project team, we would like to thank our expert team for their adventurous spirit, the numerous fruitful meetings with stakeholders and the valuable assessment of the current status on sustainable mobility and tourism in the regions. Thank you Dušan, Dejan, Dušan and Andreas for sharing your experiences with us!
