Visitors could learn about the project focus species - large carnivores in the Carpathians - and the main topic - connectivity, by means of interactive activities available at the tent of WWF Slovakia.

The team of WWF Slovakia contributed in Family park program with environmental education tools focused on forests and large carnivores. Using interactive educational tools kids, young people and their parents learned about life of forest animals, problems we face in forests and reasons why it is necessary to protect forest ecosystems. The aims of TRANSGREEN project and green infrastructure was discussed with stand visitors. Environmental education creates a social context within which WWF can promote conservation objectives and important topics such as connectivity. The audience response was positive and, even, enthusiastic,  therefore one more step in building public support has been taken.
