In the first call for proposals of the new programming period 2021-27 we received 290 applications, requesting over EUR 449 million and involving 2,853 partners!

As this call is organised according to a two-step procedure, all 290 Expressions of Interests submitted by 21 November 2022 through the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (Jems) are now being assessed by the MA/JS team.

In the “second step”, estimated in April/May 2023, the pre-selected project proposals will be invited to submit full application package, which will be the basis for the final selection of the projects by the Monitoring Committee.

The projects selected in this call will be supported with up to EUR 91,753,091.38 of the Danube Region Programme’s Interreg fund. The total requested budget together is EUR 449,604,636, which is 5 times more than the allocated budget for this call.
