On October 14, 2022, the project partners from Airports of Montenegro (IPA PP1-ACG) held their third stakeholder event and testing site visit to the relevant area where they implemented their pilot action.

On this occasion, relevant stakeholders, interested public and media had the opportunity to familiarize themselves directly on the benefits, advantages, risks, but also the challenges that must be overcome in order to provide accessible and inclusive services, infrastructure, products and contents for all users and clients, including blind and partially sighted persons.

Thanks to DANOVA project, the pilot action was implemented at the Airport of Podgorica.

The pilot action comprised of the implementation of tactile walking surface indicators and orientation plans in Braille, as well as the installation of a large video wall in the central hall, providing adequately all the necessary information to visually impaired passengers.

Moreover, the PP1-ACG pilot action targeted the improvement of the communication between passengers and airport staff through installation of local microphones at the information desk, passenger and baggage registration counters, and passport control counters, among others.
