Six Project Partners organized National Roundtables in Six Countries of the Danube Region

At the end of September and beginning of October 2022, a series of six National Roundtables were organized to discuss and fine-tune the Action Plan for RANN in the Danube Region. The round tables saw participation of relevant stakeholders and policy- and decision- makers at national level in the field of culture and tourism. They were organized on:
28 September 2022 in Zagreb, Croatia, organized by Museum of Arts and Crafts
28 September 2022 via Zoom for Romania, organized by National Institute of Heritage
6 October 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia, organized by Faculty of Architecture and Design of Slovak university of Technology
10 October 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia, organized by Republic Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments
10 October 2022 in Budapest, Hungary, organized by Museum of Applied Arts
12 October 2022 in Vienna, Austria, organized by MAK - Austrian Museum of Applied Arts
The main purpose of the roundtables was to gather feedback from relevant stakeholders in order to refine the content of the Action Plan. The events also presented an opportunity to promote the Action Plan, RANN and the Art Nouveau heritage of the countries in the Danube Region.
Therefore, the most immediate goal was to present the Action Plan and discuss its findings with the relevant stakeholders and policy- and decision- makers at national level in the field of culture and tourism. Additionally, these events presented an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about the RANN Cultural Route and to support the uptake of AN heritage on the cultural policies agenda across the Danube Region.
All organized roundtables had active participants who engaged in lively and productive discussions.
