The second partner meeting of the project Transdanube.Pearls will take place in Upper Austria from 5-7 July 2017. Partners of the project will have the opportunity to discuss the project progress, upcoming activities and further steps to be taken in the next months. Besides, the role of the project partner and the itinerary of the Assessment Tour will be presented. A team of experts, comprised of a mobility expert, a travel expert and a travel journalist will travel along the Danube by using only sustainable means of transport and thereby evaluate the possibilities to reach the touristic attractions in the Pearls.

Moreover, the first draft of guidelines for the implementation of mobility plans and services, the basis for the implementation of project activities in the partner regions, will be discussed during the open space sessions.

Prior to the partner meeting, a two-day study visit in Werfenweng and Danube Upper Austria will be organized by WGD Danube Upper Austria Tourism. The visit will take place from the 3-5 July 2017 and not only involve project partners but also regional stakeholders from the tourism and mobility sector of the partner regions. Participants will have the possibility to test e-moblity and gun mobiltiy offers, to take part in a bicycle tour on the Danube Cycle Path, to visit the mobility center “mobito” in Bischofshofen and to learn more about soft mobility offers in Werfenweg.
