CD SKILLS project presentation was held in Osijek, Croatia, at the event “Easier through life with celiac disease”, organized by CeliVita society, and related to two projects co-financed by EU fonds: one of them is CD SKILLS project and another is “Not even a trace- by caring for the health of people with celiac disease”, co-financed by ESF. The event was intended primarily for people with celiac disease and their family members, but we are glad that there were some doctors (gastroenterologists) in the audience.

 CD SKILLS project results and general info about the project have been presented. E-learning tool, publications, educational platform for caterers as well as Gluten free products registry and Gluten free restaurants guide aroused interest of participants-people who are living with celiac disease and doctors attending. Results were recognized as a practical help and relevant source of information both for healthcare professionals, celiac patients and their families and everybody directly or indirectly involved in CD management.

Vivid discussion about current gluten free products market and food information availability took place.

Leaflets with main project message “No fear” referring to celiac disease, has been disseminated, with links to project web page and developed web tools, a s well as promotional materials and publications.
