On September 26, 2022, LP (Dubrovnik Airport), ERDF PP9-LUD (Dubrovnik Port Authority) and ERDF PP7-HSS (Croatian Blind Union) organised together the third stakeholder event within the DANOVA project.

The aim of the third stakeholder meeting was to present implemented pilot action within DBV and DPA and to demonstrate, through training activities, how employees of the DBV, DPA and interested parties should approach and communicate with blind and partially sighted people.

Stakeholders were introduced with the project activities performed so far and activities to be performed by the end of the Project in December 2022, including a short practical overview of the correct approach to blind and partially sighted persons.

The partners from Airports of Montenegro (IPA PP1-ACG) as special guests to the event have described their experiences in implementing pilot action in their transportation facility. Moreover, the partners from Budapest Airport (ERDF PP3-BUD) also participated at the event.

Main conclusion of the stakeholder workshop was the necessity of raising awareness in terms of accessibility to blind and partially sighted passengers not only to all transport modes but also in relation to all daily activities.
