DanubeĀ“s Archaeological eLandscapes - industry Forum - possibilities for creating digital visualizations for archaeological heritage

11-10-2022

The National History Museum of Romania organized the Industry forum in June 2022 within the Danube`s Archaeological eLandscapes project. The technological possibilities for creating and presenting digital visualizations for archaeological heritage (both sites, monuments, and artifacts) are developing at a particularly fast pace, especially in terms of the "industry" of cultural heritage and associated creative industries. It was a forum addressed to the "industry" of cultural heritage and associated creative industries, a professional meeting with innovative topics in this field of very recent interest.

The museum's partners are The National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale”, the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism Augmented Space Agency, Imatech Trade&Imaging, Complex Systems Development, the National Institute of Heritage, MJIAZ, Gigapixel Art.

This type of meeting (generically called "industry forums") aimed to encourage cooperation between developers/providers of new digital solutions (creative industry representatives), curators/managers of archaeological heritage, respectively various decision-makers and stakeholders in relation to this topic.
