Serbian Coeliac Society and  CeliVita - Living with Celiac Disease from Croatia participated at the 34th AOECS General Assembly, held  in Lisbon, Portugal.

AOECS is an umbrella organization of European national coeliac societies, aiming to represent our 40 enrolled member societies on an international stage. AOECS is involved in several international initiatives to raise awareness of coeliac disease and encourage vital research into its diagnosis and management. Sharing CD SKILLS project experiences and results with professionals working with celiac disease patients and all other relevant CD management stakeholders, including small and big enterprises, bring additional value to the project’ specific objectives.

Both partners together presented a CD SKILLS project results and gave general info about the project. E-learning tool, publications, educational platform for caterers as well as Gluten free products registry and Gluten free restaurants guide aroused interest of participants who recognized importance of project results to management of celiac disease and improvement of quality of life of celiac patients.

Leaflets with the main project message “No fear” -referring to celiac disease, have been disseminated, with links to project web page and developed web tools.
