CINEMA - Romanian Project partner is part to the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities

15-09-2022

More great news from Romania: We are very proud to report that the CINEMA project has helped the city of Resita to join the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, an international policy-oriented network providing inspiration, know-how and best practice. A learning city promotes lifelong learning for all. Our project partner Primaria Resita, in line with the project aims, has undertaken the revitalization project Hala Minda, turning former industrial building into “makerspace” - a practical learning space for the metal processing to be used both by students attending local dual school and companies in the city. At the same time, the facility is intended to become an exhibition centre for metal works and a space to host events and bring together sculptors from all over the world. Again, congratulations to Resita!
