 The Media & Learning Association together with the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) is running its autumn series of online seminars on Exploring Media Literacy at National, Regional and Local Level -  the work of the EDMO Hubs:

EDMO has set up national and multinational hubs in Europe to tackle disinformation and one of the core tasks of these hubs is to organise media literacy activities at the national or multinational level. This series will highlight specific aspects of the media literacy work of these hubs and will identify good practices that can be shared by others engaged in media literacy.

This series will be in 3 events, starting in September:

Wednesday 14 September 2022, 14:00 – 15:15 CET

→ Media Literacy in Practice in Italy, Ireland, Belgium and Luxembourg

Wednesday 12 October 2022, 14:00 – 15:15 CET

→ Media Literacy in Practice in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland

Wednesday 16 November 2022, 14:00 – 15:15 CET

→ Media Literacy in Practice in France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and the Netherlands

Who’s involved?

Exploring Media Literacy at National, Regional and Local Level – the work of EDMO hubs on Media Literacy is a new series of online seminars organised by the Media & Learning Association together with the EDMO team of:

Paula Gori, Secretary-General and Coordinator of EDMO and School of Transnational Governance at the European University Institute.
Emma Goodman, Policy Officer and Media Literacy Consultant for EDMO.
