On the 18 and 19th of May 2022 the second tabletop exercise was held in Slavonski Brod (HR). It gathered about 50 participants from the institutions in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina which lead and manage the response action in case of accidental pollution and floods. The existing procedures of exchange of information, establishment of headquarters, activation of forces, command system protocols, transnational exchange of information were verified and supported by the new platform and tools which would be proposed by the WACOM project. The first day scenario was focused to the main accidental even accidental pollution event from navigation in Slavonski Brod (HR). Because of the grounding the leakage of 200 t of diesel oil (D2) has happened. On the second day the scenario described the floods in the areas of Una, Vrbas and Sava Rivers.

The participants were aware of the need to improve practical cooperation in disaster management and disaster risk reduction. Upon their opinion the exercise was very useful for all those responsible to manage in such events. It also shows how important is to exchange information, experiences, plans and procedures necessary for all phases of the disaster management cycle.
