EcoInn Danube - FIRST STAKEHOLDER MEETING IN PRAGUE

Business and Innovation Centre BIC Brno organized the first stakeholders meeting focused on the reuse of secondary raw materials, especially construction and demolition materials on 7 June 2017 in the Impact Hub in Prague. A group of experts in building, as well as construction and demolition waste, has met and discussed the topic of eco-innovation and barriers preventing to enter the market.

  

In the beginning of the meeting Mr. Petr Majer from the BIC Brno introduced the EcoInn Danube project, based on which this stakeholder meetings were organized. After introduction, all the participants expressed their standpoint regarding the topics of the Closed Loop of Construction Material Flow in Building Industry, the Circular Economy and barriers preventing the use of eco-innovations in Czech Republic. Stakeholders will now work on a concrete action plan that will improve the current situation.
