We would like to announce the table-top exercises to be organized within the Interreg Danube project “WACOM - Water Contingency Management in the Sava River Basin. The key challenge of the WACOM project is improved transboundary coping capacity in the case of accidental pollution and floods on water courses in Sava River Basin.

The table-top exercises will be held in accordance with international standards based on scenario of accidental pollution and floods in Brežice (SI) for Slovenia and Croatia on May 12, in Slavonski Brod (HR) for Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 18-19, and in Brčko (BA) for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia on May 23-24, 2022.

We would like to invite the representatives of the water management and civil protection sector which have an important role in the case of accident pollution and floods to participate and exchange experiences in the management of such complex international events.
