Development Agency Heart of Istria, the Croatian partner in D-STIR consortium, established the Croatian Business Stakeholder Group and organized its first meeting.

The meeting was held on 7. June 2017 in the form of a round table on the subject of Responsible Research and Innovation.

Following the Quadraple helix model, one of the theme of D-STIR project, the Group consists of innovative SMSs, local Chamber of commerce and other business supporting organizations, representatives of the local and regional government, representatives of the Universities and Polytechnic and one NGO.

The members of the Group were presented with D-STIR project and their engagement in the project activities. The fruitful discussion was held on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) definition, STIR method, RRI experiences in Croatia so far and its future possibilities. Furthermore, the options for project cooperation within Horizon 2020 Program was presented and discussed with the emphasis on the projects containing the RRI principles.
