14-06-2017

In total, more than 270 guests, including business partners, students, alumni and research partners participated at the “Fest der Logistik” (engl. logistics event) which took place at the Museum Arbeitswelt in Steyr (Upper Austria).  The University of Applied Sciences presented the three INTERREG Danube Transnational Programme projects in which they are involved (DAPhNE, DANTE and Danube Skills) all together at a “Research Market Place” where  different projects and research related topics were presented. In addition, a LEGO transhipment game was used to discuss trimodal transport processes and innovative transport concepts such as Synchromodality. Before and after the main program, guests had time to visit the “Research Market Place”  and to discuss current research topics and projects. Besides four key notes on the topics of research and logistics, the future challenges and development of logistics were discussed in a panel discussion.
