The lifelineMDD project continues with the implementation of volunteering action and brings together young people to protect the nature of the UNESCO 5-country Biosphere Reserve Mura-Drava-Danube!

Together with students of the Biosphere School FS Halbenrain, the Austrian partner RMSO planted typical trees in the floodplain forest of the Biosphere Reserve Lower Mura-Valley in the municipality of Halbenrain.

Guided by European Protected Area Supervisor Dr. Andreas Breuss, the students were able to learn interesting facts about the biosphere reserve, the floodplain forest, and its importance for birds.

Once again, the volunteers showed by their actions how everyone can contribute to the protection of nature!
