The concept of the exhibition subject plays an essential role in the preparation of the joint exhibition "STORIES OF THE PAST - Journey Into Lost Landscapes". This concept was developed jointly by all ten partner countries, under the responsibility of the Hungarian partner, the Hungarian National Museum.

The concept highlights virtual reality as an attractive new technology and presents the exhibition as an exciting and enticing adventure. Landscape elements and images of archaeological reconstructions are arranged around VR glasses. Each section contains images from different eras brought to life through the project's digital experiences. The river trope is used in the background to evoke the international character of the project and to point out the importance of the Danube.
