ISTER - Investigation Game

31-01-2022

Rumor has it that on this special day of every hundred years, the fragments of a confusing and nebulous vision can be followed along the streets of Pécs. The cause of the phenomenon is unknown. Could it be a message from the ancient gods? A random effect of the position of the stars? Or a physical phenomenon for which science has not yet found an explanation? One thing is sure, however: if you are in the right place at the right time, remnants of the past will become known through visions and through them, you can follow the journey of a Roman who has been around for nearly two thousand years walking the streets and surrounding areas of Sopianae. But be careful not to lose sight of him, as such visions are quickly fleeting...

In the framework of the project, we developed a popular investigation game that promotes the rediscovery of Roman heritage in the centre of Pécs, Hungary. The game takes players back to the time of Emperor Diocletian, and they must follow the footsteps of a mysterious stranger to expose a conspiracy that threatens the empire.

All you need to play is a little booklet, a map, a pen, and a thirst for adventure.

The game can be played as a team and individually, from 9 to 99 years old. The booklet is available in Hungarian and English.
