InnoSchool - 2nd Institutional Learning Workshop in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Agency for economic development of the city of Prijedor “PREDA-PD” organized 2nd Institutional Learning Workshop in premises of the Republic Pedagogical Institute of the Republic of Srpska on November 10, 2021 in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska (BIH) with Mr. Predrag Damjanović, the director of the Republic Pedagogical Institute.

The main goal of the workshop is to transfer knowledge to relevant policy makers about the InnoSchool Learning System (ILS) and the ILS pilot, presentation of the Territorial Evaluation report and Territorial Impact report, Catalogue of good practices results and Case studies.

Within the meeting, the most important keys related to the Evaluation and Impact report were recalled, followed by information regarding the pilot and secondary schools that participated in the pilot in 2020/2021 school year. It is mentioned that in the past period project team with other project partners actively worked to incorporate all recommendations within the InnoSchool version 2.0 which is now available for usage in 2021/2022 school year. The upgraded and final version of the innovative learning system – InnoSchool version X will be available in February 2022.

 

Due to responsibilities of this institution, the director of the Republic Pedagogical Institute and project team took the opportunity review updated Teachers Handbook and Training materials to train teachers before forwarding these documents to the all secondary schools. Project team also presented the draft version of the Good practice catalogue and Case study and proposed that the teachers use these two documents as motivating tool in the teaching process among other documents that are previously prepared within the project.

The last processed point of the agenda refers the sustainability of the InnoSchool project and ILS. Before the beginning of the school year, Ministry of education and culture of the Republic of Srpska assured their support for the implementation of the ILS and after the revision of documents, Mr. Damjanović gave his support in behalf of this institution for the future activities regarding the ILS. He proposed that Agency PREDA-PD with the support of the Institute organize training for all teachers from all secondary schools. All teachers who successfully complete training will receive officially recognized certificate issued by Republic Pedagogical Institute of RS and Agency PREDA-PD.

The 2nd workshop resulted in a joint conclusion that the ILS represents an excellent learning platform to promote entrepreneurship and introduce social entrepreneurship for secondary school students, to motivate and encourage students to take prominent role of future change makers in our society by creating innovative solutions on existing social problems.
