In mid-November, a youth forum on the 5-country Biosphere Reserve Mura-Drava-Danube and in particular for the Biosphere Reserve Lower Mura Valley took place in the Rothof of the Fachschule Schloss Halbenrain.

The young people were first informed about the 5-country Biosphere Reserve Mura-Drava-Danube and its importance for the region of Southeast Styria. A lively exchange and workshop took place on the planned fields of action of the management plan of the Lower Mura Valley.

The ideas, comments and wishes submitted by the young people will now be incorporated into the development of the management plan for the Lower Mura Valley Biosphere Reserve and will also be discussed in the course of an international expert workshop with partners from the five countries of Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia and Austria.
