Yesterday, 6th of June 2017, Regional development agency Međimurje REDEA held the first stakeholder meeting with the aim to expand and capitalize upon existing stakeholder network. The event „Round table: Needs, problems and solutions in the field of eco-innovation“ was held with the purpose to familiarize key stakeholders with project objectives, to identify needs and issues in eco-innovation and discuss possible solutions for the purpose of developing a common transnational eco-innovation strategy. 

At the beginning of the meeting, Ana Kralj, project manager, introduced the project. After providing more information to stakeholders, a discussion was held. Special emphasize in the discussion was given to the problems, obstacles and opportunities within the energy efficiency sector. Gathered information will be used for development of a strategy for eco-knowledge. The meeting was attended by representatives of SMEs, regional energy agency, Technology Innovation Center Međimurje, technology park, city and county representatives and university representatives.
