Digital education remains core topic among EUSDR stakeholders

 
 

The relevance of digital education was emphasised by various stakeholders at the opening of the 10th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). The two-day conference was organised under the Slovakian presidency of the EUSDR from October 26-27. Policy makers from the Danube Region, representatives of the Danube Transnational Programme as well as other actors joint in several sessions to discuss current trends such as digitalisation, innovation and sustainability in the Danube Region. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the relevance of digital education increased over the last year.

The INDEED project is an example for introducing digital learning in the field of health and social care. Over the last three years, the project has developed and piloted an online learning course about dementia for professions from various disciplines. This online platform is available on:

The course is also available in Bulgarian, Romanian, Slovakian and Slovenian. The INDEED online learning platform has received excellent feedback from users and thus underlines the benefits of digital learning.
