Danube Hazard m3c - 3rd Project Meeting

04-10-2021

After more than one year into the project the partners of the Danube Hazard m3c project did finally meet in person! On 23rd and 24th of September the third Project Partner Meeting took place in Podersdorf, in the vicinity of the Lake Neusiedl. The partners had the chance to discuss about the progress of the project, exchanging experiences among others on the monitoring activities, which are currently in the intensive implementation phase in the various pilot regions, i.e. in Vit (Bulgary), Wulka and Ybbs (Austria), Someșul Mic and Vișeu (Romania), Zala and Koppány (Hungary). Also, the collection of data and preparatory work for modelling were some of the focus points. Last but not least, the discussions referred to the differences in the regulatory systems on micropollutants in all participating the Danube River Basin countries. The meeting closed with an excursion to the nearby Austrian sampling sites. These two days meant a jump of quality in the internal communication and will surely boost the progress of the Danube Hazard m3c work.
