EcoVeloTour - The ecotourism development strategy of the Hungarian project area, the Rákos-creek, has been completed

29-09-2021

The ecotourism development strategy of the Hungarian project area, the Rákos-creek has been developed by the experts from the Corvinus University of Budapest with the involvement of a wide range of stakeholders.

The Eurovelo route along the Rákos-creek will create great opportunities for leisure tourism, but the conditions are not yet in place. The development of the ecotourism development strategy of the Rákos-creek was preceded by extensive quantitative and qualitative research, as well as meetings and workshops with various stakeholders. The users of the strategy will be the implementers of the action plan, the decision-makers of the local governments and the tourism service providers of the project area.

The strategy is also available in English and in Hungarian from the EcoVeloTour sub-page on the Danube Transnational Program website.
