On the public session, which was organized on 1st of July 2021 in Dubrovnik, project partners presented "DANOVA: Innovative transportation services for blind and partially sighted passengers in Danube region". All interested public, representatives of local, regional, and national authorities, as well as the representatives from the local associations of the visually impaired, had a chance to hear about the project, the main goals, and the results achieved so far.
After providing insight into the field of accessibility for the visually impaired, coordinators of the work packages presented specific project goals and plans for future activities. Participants learned about tactile walking surface indicators, voice announcements, and audio signalization in public vehicles and Braille signage. In the end, they had the chance to ask questions and express their interest in the topic.
