We are happy to announce the First Regional Workshops of the WACOM project. The workshops are a continuation of the process we have already defined at the first national workshop held on May 11th, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, May 19th, in Croatia, May 27th, in Slovenia and June 2nd, 2021 in Serbia.

The workshops are intendent to create a starting point for the preparation of the table-top exercises, scheduled for March 2022. At the workshops the scenario of the table-top exercise and the role of the different institutions in the table-top exercise will be analyzed. At the table-top exercise the communication and decision-making process will be simulated in case of accidental pollution and floods at the different locations in the Sava River Basin locations and the complex response of numerous institutions (national and local authorities, infrastructure companies and enterprises) in all four Sava countries – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia.

The workshops will be held on September 9th in Brežice (SI), September 16th in Slavonski Brod (HR) and September 23rd in Županja (HR).
