Tirgu Mures, Romania, May 18th. The Transgreen project was launched in a local press conference organized by Milvus Group in Tirgu Mures, landmark city of the project pilot area Tirgu Mures-Iasi.

The event paves the way to the up-coming project work to be undertaken in the pilot area focusing on future highway Tirgu Mures-Iasi. The project is still in its early stages, thus integrated planning is highly achievable and recommended, in order to ensure connectivity for large carnivores and for people, as well. The pilot area has dense bear populations, which requires concrete measures for safe passage. Both the bear and the future highway are hot topics in the area, thus the event drew the interest of local, regional and national media, as well.
