Distinguished visit for the URBforDAN team

Great honour for the Interreg URBforDAN project and the project staff as the mayor of Belgrade, Prof. Dr Zoran Radoicic, joined the project activities! The mayor personally awarded the winners of the competition „The best idea for Avala“ within the international programme URBforDAN. The competition „The best idea of Avala“ was published by the department for environmental protection. After insights into delivered ideas, the best idea was awarded  to the project „Ecological paths“.

The idea came from Ana Teofilovic, a student of 4. grade of primary school of „The Saint Sava“ in Belgrade-Vrcin. The second place was awarded to „The hill of friendship“ of Nina Manic, a ceramic and glass designer. The third place belonged to the idea „The model of a street lamp“ of Andrea Denic and Natalia Denic, the students of 5. grade of Primary School „Jajinci“. The mayor also mentioned that department for environmental protection designed and placed 30 info boards on Avala financed by the URBforDAN project.
