18-11-2020

Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency hosted the 1st InnoSchool Day Seminar as a physical event on the 7th of September, in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. CTRIA presented the InnoShcool Learning System, its structure, and its key components, including the serious game. In the first part of the discussion, they paid special attention to present the pedagogical objectives of the ILS and also aimed to emphasize why ILS is different than the other digital or online tools that were used in school during the period of digital education. The answer is not just simply a new tool to support the education of pupils, but it is the tool and the content at the same time.

Participants were presented with the InnoSchool digital game as well, mostly the student’s interface, as it contains the educational part for students, and it has a great visual and emotional impact. While presenting the game, its key features were explained. Following the presentation of the student’s interface, the teacher’s administrative part was briefly presented as well.

At the end of the event, an open discussion was held. The discussion mostly focused on social entrepreneurship as it is little known for participants. They explained the positive impact on the society in dealing with modern-day challenges. Participants welcomed the fact that ILS was focusing on youth and their potential as future social entrepreneurs and that it was conceptualized in a way that leads to development of successful social business ideas in an amusing and entertaining way.
