DanubePeerChains - More than 50 participants took part at the kick off conference

The online kick-off event of the DanubePeerChains project „Leap into Digital Value Chains“ was held on 27th October. During the kick-off event tremendous impact of the project activites on the Danube countries, in particular on regional labour markets and the development of human resources and competencies of the entire population was presented to the audience. 

The event started with the presentation of the project DanubePeerChains. During the presentation Eva Bauer – BIZ Austria (LP), presented project key activities, objectivs and deliverables. DanubePeerChains in Slovenian context presented by Mrs. Željka Kelkedi, Major challenges faced by small and mid-size companies in industry presented by Mr. Kornél Nemeth , and Role of Digital innovation Hub Slovenia in digitalization of Slovenian SMEs presented by Katja Mohar Bastar, are just one part of the disscused topics.

During the topic Digitalisation in industry, Mr. Bojan Zupan presented good pracitce examples, while Mr. Erik Kapfer explained topic Enabling technologies in industry and educational system. The online kick-off event was closed with the presenting HR as s support to the emergence of digital value chains by Mrs. Ines Gergorić. The created content of the online event Leap into Digital Value Chains contributed to raising awareness and understanding all these complex topics.

The conference was organised under the coordination of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and it was held in two languages (English and Slovenian), where 55 participants took part.
