REDISCOVER - Forgotten Faces: 12+1 Legendary Figures from the Jewish Past of Szeged

26-10-2020

Date: 2-6 November
Place: Kaluzál Square Szeged, Hungary

The exhibition Forgotten Faces aims at displaying those influential Jewish-born persons who lived and worked in Szeged or have close connection to the city.

Did you know that the architect of the New Synagogue of Szeged celebrates the 160th anniversary of his birth this year or did you know the fact that the famous spice trader Kotányi came from Szeged? You can learn such stories if you see the 12+1 legendary figures on display.

The exhibition is organized by project Rediscover of the Danube Transnational Programme.

Programme co-funded by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI)
