October is a very busy month for the RADAR project. Beside Q&A session within this year’s European Week of Regions and Cities on October 14 and a joint conference with synergetic DTP project SABRINA on October 15, the RADAR project will also share another exciting opportunity to meet and discuss RADAR achievements so far and way forward to the final outputs and results.

To reinforce the work of Project Partners and Associated Strategic Partners within the framework of the RADAR project but also to present the RADAR “portfolio” of mid-term results and discuss the way forward with the Danube Road Infrastructure Safety Improvement Strategy and Action Plans, we are pleased to inform that RADAR will host online the fifth Steering Committee (SC) meeting on Thursday, October 22, 2020, between 11:00 and 13:30 CET

Given that the RADAR project has entered the final stage of implementation in a very sensitive period for Europe and the whole world it is important, maybe more than ever, to strengthen our work on road safety and highlight achievements of the project by now - with the focus on the future.

Considering that the current Covid-19 pandemic worldwide is comparable with the Road Fatality pandemic we all work need to work together to keep the goal of saving lives on roads high in the agenda of decision-makers in participating countries. After all, road safety has been in the background for too long!
