On August 25 the CINEMA project officially went “live”! As part of the European Forum Alpbach we took the chance to use this international platform to first organize a lively panel discussion on sustainable building in urban areas. Tanja Spennlingwimmer and Veronika Müller from Biz Up Austria, an Austrian project partner, participated as experts on sustainable building and location development and gave us insights into their experiences and expertise by painting a clear picture on the requirements for a sustainable urban revitalisation. The second part revolved specifically around CINEMA and our project goals and pilot regions. At the three networking sessions afterwards we had the chance to exchange with participants all over the world and get their input as well as responding to their questions. All in all it was a great success and we are happy to be up and running as a project team!
