Alexandru Luchiian, from Fermierul 4.0 participated with 2 ideas at Com'On Cluj and has won financing for one of them - they will be installing 7 sensors in bins for recyclables that will notify the garbage pick-up company when they need to come and collect the recyclables so that bins won't overflow.

Alexandru also took part this weekend in the Nasa Space Apps Challenge Cluj online-hackathon. His team, IoT4Nature, was one of the 2 winners of the local competition. They will be advancing to the global phase of the competition that will take place this winter. For their winning idea, they build a hardware sensor connected to a web platform that detects fires and warns you with 15 minutes in advance so that you can leave from harm's way. https://www.facebook.com/DigitalTransformers/posts/3467947823228510; https://2020.spaceappschallenge.org/challenges/confront/spot-fire-3/teams/iot4nature/project
