According to the original plans, a forecasting system that is based on the cooperation between the Danube Basin countries is one of the main objective of DAREFFORT project.

DAREFFORT ENVIRONET is going to be a free software, open sourced under GNU General Public License. In the past month, the software is getting closer to its final form, testing takes place and a thorough documentation is under preparation. Already a few screenshots are also available which suggest that a useful and comprehensible application will support the success of DAREFFORT.
