The 1st motivational workshop organized by Cleantech Bulgaria was held on the 17th of February at Puzl Co-working space in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event was held under the name “Founders info day: Green entrepreneurship opportunities 2020”, in order to attract people who have the desire to establish a successful venture and who consider themselves to have an entrepreneurial mindset.

The event started with an introduction by Ms. Mariyana Hamanova of the activities of Cleantech Bulgaria and generally the cleantech entrepreneurship scene in Bulgaria. An ice-breaker activity was held, during which each participant shared their name, idea and what they were hoping for during the event. Following this, Dianka Alexieva presented the Danube Energy+ Tool and how the participants could benefit from it. The presentation included information about eligibility criteria, as well as examples of ideas which fit into the categories of Danube Energy+.

In order to motivate the participants, examplees of successful Bulgarian energy start-ups were given. The event ended with a short networking part.
