Is your company an SME that has submitted a proposal in the framework of the H2020 SME Instrument that has been awarded with the Seal of Excellence?

You can apply IPA4SME actions that support and facilitate the use of Intellectual Property by SMEs.

IPA4SME is up and running and is looking for SMEs who need support with their IP valorisation. The current open call for expressions of interest will close on 26 March 2020.

IPA4SME provides financial and expert support for intellectual property (IP) valorisation and protection services to innovative SMEs which have received a Seal of Excellence from the H2020 SME Instrument program. The action is offering these SMEs a unique opportunity to acquire Intellectual Property valorisation and protection through a variety of IP-related services, worth up to EUR 15.000.

IPA4SME beneficiary

Eligible SMEs can also have their IP protection costs reimbursed, particularly IP attorney and European patent application fees. This service is available to SMEs in all EU and COSME countries.

More than 400 SMEs have already benefitted from IPA4SME services and the feedback has been enthusiastic. Beneficiaries found the campaign to be an excellent opportunity to summarise, reflect on and improve their IP strategy thanks to the advice received from independent experts.

In particular, the IP pre-diagnostics generated solutions and recommendations that even experienced companies had not previously considered. Given the beneficial impact of the support, beneficiaries have recommended that the campaign be expanded even further.
