Information on the overall progress of the implementation of the project activities in 2019 was presented at the session of the Basin Council at the Danube River Basin Directorate (DRBD) on December 12th 2019 in Pleven, Bulgaria. According to the Bulgarian Water law, the Basin Council is a state-public advisory committee that assists the activities of the Basin Directorates, including DRBD. The council of the Danube River Basin Directorate includes 39 representatives of regional and municipal administrations, regional structures of ministries, water supply companies, scientific institutes, universities, NGOs and others.
