On Thursday, October 31, 2019, investors, business angels, start-ups and young innovators came together to gain an insight into the business ideas of the energy start-ups from the current AXEL Team Training Program. These teams have spent six weeks working full of energy on their business models and pitch deck and introduced their ideas in a 5-minute pitch to the audience.

For the Danube Energy+ project this event was important as of following reasons:

• Additional feedback regarding the Danube Energy+ tool was collected from business angels, investors and start-ups
• New contacts to the start-up / young innovators community were established
• An additional insight was gained what kind of support young innovators need which resulted in the idea of adding some “challenge owners” to the Danube Energy+ pilot and make it by doing so more needs-oriented.
