#SavaTIES Stakeholder workshop was held on 4th July 2019 in in the Visitor Center Zasavica with the purpose of discussing main issues related to invasive alien species in Sava River basin in general and in the Special Nature Reserve Zasavica in particular.

Representatives of local government, NGOs, Department for Biology and Ecology of Faculty of natural science from Novi Sad, Provincial Institute of Nature Protection and PC “Vode Vojvodine” took part at the workshop.

Participants shared their experience with invasive species management they had so far and presented ideas for possible projects aimed at different aspects of invasive species management that could be developed and implemented at local and Sava River basin level.

All workshop participants expressed willingness to be part of Zasavica stakeholder board and join efforts for finding successful  solutions for  invasive species problems.
