The 8th edition of the EUSDR Annual Forum took place on 27th and 28th of June 2019 in Bucharest, Romania. This event was organized by the Romanian Presidency of the EUSDR – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania together with the DG Regio/European Commission and the Danube Transnational Programme (DTP).

The event addressed a wide range of topics from connectivity and regional mobility to economy (for fostering clusters development, transport, tourism and ICT).

The meeting in Bucharest hosted public hearings of the reviewed Action Plan of EUSDR, an important step facilitating joint efforts of addressing major challenges of cross-cutting topics such as digitalization, climate protection, mobility and others. Revision of this macro-regional strategy is to be finalized by the end of 2019.

As funded partner of the GRENDEL project, Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry disseminated information about GRENDEL. The project was also in the focus of the presentation of BRCCI’s activities in a side session of the Forum - B2B meetings, where representatives of the business, Non Governmental Organizations and Academia participated in a structured networking.
