Dear partners and stakeholders of the KnowingIPR-project,

we kindly invite you to the first Action Plan Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)-management to discuss about exploitation of intellectual property rights in organisations.

INTERREG project KnowingIPR pursues the goal to enhance the exploitation and protection of intellectual property in the Danube region in the i) automotive industry and ii) spin-offs from Higher Education Institutions (HEI). Based on assessments in all partner countries, strategies for the protection and exploitation of knowledge will be prepared.

To discuss about exploitation of IPR in organizations, we invite you to participate in our workshop which will be organized with the Patent- und Markenzentrum Baden-Württemberg (Trademark and Patent Centre Baden-Wurttemberg) in Stuttgart, Germany. Actors from IPR-management, technology transfer, innovation management, clusters and small and medium enterprises, and business support organisations will discuss about IPR-management.

Note: The workshop will be held in English.

In the workshop, the project partners will present the first results of the project from a country study in 14 countries, the challenges of IPR-management and the first draft of the action plan on IPR-management for the Danube region. The results will then be fed into action recommendations to strengthen the exploitation of IPR in the Danube region to strengthen innovation capacities and technology transfer.
